Our Emblem Print

God is oneThe emblem or logo we use reminds us the complete work of God in our lives. We have our name and a circle showing a starry sky that reminds us that God is one (Deuteronomy 6:4). He has showed to all human beings as Creator that "makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust" (Matthew 5:45). Many peoples have recognized the existence of a God creator and sustainer of life and they can know him as Creator "for the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being realized by the things that are made" (Romans 1:20). This is reminded to us in the image of our planet, a place where we can see directly the marvels of God's creation

Not all human beings that recognize God as Creator look at him as Father. But God is Father and Creator.

Besides, God the Father sent his son Jesus Christ for us to receive forgiveness of our sins. Not all humans have accepted Christ at present time but those of us who have received forgiveness through his death and resurrection remember that he is the true vine who said: "I am the True Vine, and My Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away. And every one that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bring forth more fruit. Now you are clean through the Word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:1-5)

The drawing of a cluster of grapes reminds us that Christ is the True Vine

The drawing of a cluster of grapes reminds us that Christ is the True Vine and we must abide in him to be able to bear much fruit of good deeds.

lg1.jpgAfter Jesus resurrected he promised to ask the Father to send us the Comforter, the Holy Spirit. In John 14:16-18 Jesus said: " And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever, the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you. I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you." The Holy Spirit was seen in the shape of a dove when Jesus Christ was baptized. The Bible says in Matthew 3:16"And Jesus, when He had been baptized, went up immediately out of the water. And lo, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting upon Him". The drawing of a dove reminds us that we are not alone. That God the Father and Christ have sent the Holy Spirit to teach us and to bring to our remembrance the teachings of Jesus Christ. "But the Comforter, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatever I have said to you. " (John 14:26)

lg3.jpgAlso in the upper part of the logo we have a representation of the rainbow that was established as a sign of the covenant God made in times of Noah (Genesis 9:13-17) and also two ears. One of barley and the other one of wheat as a symbol of the two crops that God is making with mankind.

lg2.jpgFinally in the lower part there is a banner with the quote of Colossians 1:9-12 " For this cause we also, since the day we heard, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you might walk worthy of the Lord to all pleasing, being fruitful in every work and increasing in the knowledge of God, being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, to all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness, giving thanks to the Father, who has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light". This quote reminds us of three important aspects related to the Work of God in our lives, 1) That looking at God as Creator we need to grow in wisdom and understanding of the complete Work that God has done and reveals to us through his creation, his universal laws, his plan for mankind, his word, his commandments and his feasts; 2) That looking at God as Redeemer Son we need to appreciate the forgiveness received through the sacrifice of Christ and to respond with gratitude and bearing abundant fruit of good deeds of love to our God and our neighbors and 3) That we need to be sensible to receive and follow the guide of the Holy Spirit that brings past things of God to our remembrance and teaches us new truths and revelations related to the marvels and mysteries of God.

Verse of the day

Yo no quiero que el malvado muera, sino que cambie de conducta y viva. Yo, el Señor, lo afirmo.
